Music of the Gilded Age

The mood was festive at historic Pier on April 20, when the Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra presented its spring soiree, Music of the Gilded Age.  KCO Music Director Gary S. Fagin, soprano Marcy Richardson and KCO musicians performed wonderful melodies from the turn of the 19th century, including After the Ball, Ta-ra-ra Boom-de-ay, The Jewel Aria from Gounod's Faust, and A Bird In A Gilded Cage.

It was a very special evening to support the KCO and classical music in Lower Manhattan, continuing the Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra's tradition of intimate, innovative, musical events in historically resonant venues.
