KCO GoFundMe Campaign
You can do something to counter the feeling of helplessness in the face of the recurring traumas of mass shootings. Help support the world premiere of Gary S. Fagin's new cantata, The Struggle To Forgive—Confronting Gun Violence in America. Called “beautiful;” “stunning;” “an important work;” this music drama for soprano, mezzo-soprano, baritone and orchestra hauntingly gives voice to those most affected by the gun epidemic in America—victims of gun violence and their families. This is personal for the KCO, as the orchestra lost one of its own to gun violence in 2014.
Donations of $125 will receive one reservation to the special “Struggle To Forgive” preview soirée at Pier A in Lower Manhattan on April 23.
Donations of $250 will receive two April 23 soirée
Donations of $500 will receive four April 23 soirée
Donations of $1,000 will receive four reservations to the April 23rd soirée, plus a signed, framed page of Gary S. Fagin’s original manuscript for “The Struggle To Forgive.”
Any amount will make a difference, and all donors will be gratefully acknowledged in the May 4th program.
