Youth Outreach
We invite you to help support our mission to bring classical music into our neighborhood schools. Our goal is to teach children to appreciate the beauty of classical music, and perhaps reawaken their parents’ connections to classical music, as well.
"I just came from the faculty room where faculty were talking about how great the assembly was -- how accessible you made it for the students. It was a treat to hear such amazing musicians play such beautiful music in the middle of the school day!"
- Grace Church School Choral Director Elizabeth Abrams
Our presentations are generally 45-60 minutes in length and consist of performances by elite professional musicians and internationally known soloists interspersed with anecdotes and entertaining talks on music history and theory. Corporations and individuals who wish to know more about funding the KCO Youth Outreach Program please contact KCO Music Director Gary S. Fagin at info@knickerbocker-orchestra.org for levels of support.
